Your privacy and the privacy of your data is of utmost importance to us.
Charles on iOS captures your network traffic only when you have Charles enabled. Charles captures and stores your captured data on your device. You can choose to share that data using the sharing functions in the app. Charles will not share your data, or metadata about your data, unless you explicitly choose to do so using the sharing function. Note that your data may be transferred off your device by a backup process, including iCloud Backup, iTunes, or any other backup solution. The developers of Charles do not have access to your data.
Charles on iOS 1.0 and 1.1 used Fabric for reporting crashes and usage stats. Please see Fabric's Data Privacy statement for more information.
Charles on iOS 1.1.1 and later uses our own crash reporting, that prompts you to ask if you'd like to send a crash report if a crash occurs. The supplied data is covered by this statement.
