First Download Charles. If you use Firefox download the Firefox add-on as well.
Run the setup application to install Charles in your Programs menu.
Mac OS X
Unzip the download file by double-clicking it, and then copy the Charles application into your Applications folder.
Charles has an APT repository which is the preferred way to install Charles if you have a Debian-based Linux distribution. Use the APT repository.
Unzip the tar.gz archive in an appropriate location. If you have previously installed Charles and you are performing an upgrade; first make sure that Charles isn’t running and then install or copy over the top of the previous installation. Start Charles by running the bin/charles script.
